Asto Shield is a secure communication app. A member shows a person their Asto Shield number, that person texts it first, and after they agree on the join page the two of them text and call through that number without seeing each other's real number.

Stop the texts
Text STOP to the Asto Shield number. You get one confirmation and no more texts from it. Text START to opt back in. Message frequency varies with your conversation. Msg & data rates may apply.
“Unauthorized Contact”
If you got that text, or heard that you are no longer authorized when you called, the person you were trying to reach has not approved you, or has blocked you. Your texts and calls to that number will not reach them. Please do not contact them again.
If you are a member using the app
Add a person in the app and it shows you which Asto Shield number is theirs. Show it on your screen (the app has a full-screen button) so they can read it and text it first from their own phone. The app never sends or shares the number for you, and nothing is sent to them until they text it. You can block anyone at any time from their page in the app; after that their texts and calls no longer reach you. On a computer, sign in on the web with the mobile number you confirmed in the app: your people, texts, call log and records links are there too (calls stay in the app). Payments
Packs and plans are paid with a US card through Stripe and are final sale (see the Terms). To ask about a charge, email us with the date and amount.
Your information
To see, correct or delete your information, email ben@nerdsystems.com. See the Privacy Policy.
Delete your account
Members delete their account in the app: Account (the round button at the top of your people), then Delete my account. It happens at once and can't be undone. Your texts, calls, recordings, photos, notes, the people you added and your records links are deleted, your Asto Shield number stops reaching you, and unused credit and paid Premium time end with no refund. Asto keeps only payment and usage records, and the texting consent records of the people you added, in the words they agreed to.
